A short tribute video to one of Hip Hop’s greatest artistes ever… NATE muthafuckin’ DOGG.
You’ll be missed dearly. You know everyone will continue bangin’ and rockin’ to your music years on from now.
Peace & Love.
I was lookin’ through my inbox on YouTube and came across a personal message that I received from somebody in the USA back in 2007. I had totally forgotten about it until today.

The video that the person refers to is a really old Breakdance Instructional video I made back in 2003 when I had just started out breakin’. Reading this message again almost 4 years later still warms my heart & soul… To know that I had inspired a bunch of kids to pick up dancing just by this simple video I made randomly. To feel inspired is one of the best feelings in the world, but to know you inspired others is something else entirely.
I really wonder what happened to them and if they’re still dancing today.
I truly hope they are.

What’s up y’all.
Yeah, I know. It’s been eons since I updated this bitch properly and because I’m in the mood & kinda free at the moment I shall do the do. Life’s been so-so for me as of late. Having my fair share of ups and downs and I’m tryna make the best of everything. One thing I like about my life right now is that I feel more in control and not so vulnerable to my desires and what not. I’m currently doing very well not smoking and I plan on sticking to that. Only time Imma touch the cancer sticks is when I’m drinkin’. And yeah, I’m gonna cut down on that as well. Sobriety might just do me well after all these years of partying.
I have been rather occupied with videography in the past few months. Been hired to do a few professional projects for various clients such as Herbalife & Action Hair Salon so far and I must say I have learnt a lot from the experience. Right now I can’t wait for the opportunity to shoot my first wedding as much as it’s gonna be really hectic and tiring compared to dinner&dance/corporate events. How long I’m gonna do this videography thing, I’m not exactly sure. But what I do know is that this period will make me grow as an artiste and bring me one step closer to what I would make a living off in future. I’m gonna be done with national service in a little over 6 months, then I’d be off to university and another phase of life.
Some of you might know that I want to study overseas, ideally at Canada. But there’s some things which are making me think twice about it… Primarily, my family. My sister’s in the UK at the moment and things as usual are really not going well at home. I’m worried about my mother. She’ll be mostly alone if me and my sister are both gone and I don’t know if she would be able to cope by herself. But then again this is like a once in a lifetime thing, and I could seriously learn & make something outta the experience. Questions, questions, questions.
Onto a lighter and brighter note, I recently organised and hosted the 5th annual ‘STEP IT UP! BBOY JAM’. This year was fuckin’ epic as we had representatives from all four elements of Hip Hop down doing their thing. I was really stressed during the event because I pretty much was running the entire the thing and there were some cock-ups here and there. The biggest one being one of the muthafuckin’ turntables FAILED TO WORK. My testicles seriously cramped at that moment and my penis went to hide in my buttcrack. But fortunately we were able to stall time and get an extra one from a DJ living nearby. The jam went rather smoothly and seeing everybody having a good time made my heart smile. I also got the opportunity to throw down some rhymes in the ‘Rap Cypher Sessions’ and apparently I did pretty well! It’s been years since I got on the mic and flowed so I was really fuckin’ nervous. My hands were trembling while I was rappin’ but on footage I looked damn bloody confident. The power of adrenaline! Hah! Ohhh and my sexy ass girlfriend was there to support me and I’m very happy that she got to see & be apart of what I represent and am passionate about. Love ya bayb!
Alright, I guess that’s about all I got to share for now. Will try to update this bitch more often, I prom…nehmind. Don’t give you all false hope. Jajajaja.
Peace & Love,
Tosh muthafuckin’ Rock
